Emmery is Walking!

So I have been practicing with Emmery alot and it has paid off. On Sunday she took 4 good steps to Daddy and then yesterday she took 8! Can you believe our baby is now a toddler, practically! Yikes! Its gonna suck now for me. But oh well it is a fun new experience waiting to happen.

Oh yeah, and a baby on Sunday touched her eye so yeah now she has pink eye or some infection my poor baby.

Here comes "Suicidal" Emmery.

So here is the outcome when Grandma Nancy "watches" Emmery. Ha ha

It is about the size of a blueberry in diameter. Okay well it seems to be like a star sticker that was rolled up. It somehow got stuck on the side of her mouth and she couldn't get it out by gagging and coughing so it stayed and went through. Man, She finds EVERYTHING!

All I know is that nobody was watching her to help swipe it out of her mouth. Babies don't just vomit all over themselves for no apparent reason. I know this b/c it has happened to us and still continues to happen where she gags but at least I am there to help her. So remember to be careful around you little ones and be there to help them when they need it. Because there may not be a next time. :-( :-(

She for some reason slaps the side of her face. Little misses. Just sing the little rubber ducky song when i see her with her sippy cup "My sippy cup, you're the one you make lunchtime so much fun my sippy cup im awfully fond of you! doodle de doop do" Ahhhh reflections! Lunchtime is slooooowwwing down.

The many faces of Emmery

So Emmery has these faces that she just started doing recently and some she does on a daily schedule...i thought i would share. Enjoy! She cocks her head to the side...like a dog...i crack up at her. Grabs the ears....gets yucky hair. This just started on monday...I just roll over and laugh. You can't tell but she is actually shaking her head at me. Whasssuuuuuup! High five!Or This is bitter...can't tell which one. haha

Splish-Splash havin' a blast!

Yesterday was the 1st Emmery had been in the pool and she was loving it...however the pictures say otherwise...but they were takin an hour after we'd been in the pool. besides it was nap time too. Sad as it is she has got more color than me. Im just porcelain what can I say.

Happier Goodbyes

Well for those who need or will need this info. So you are leaving your baby with a sitter, or relative, or daycare...whatever and you are trying to make your escape. Here is all you need to remember...A-B-C-D-E. A- Be Affectionate=Give your baby a big hug and kiss and tell her that you love her. B- Be Brief= don't linger, b/c that will just make her more anxious. C- Be Clear= Tell your child when you'll be back. Use simple words, like "after your nap." D- Be Directive= Give your child something to do. She can "show grandpa the new book." E- Exit!= Make a quick escape, and whatever you do, DON'T LOOK BACK. I needed to know this and thought others might need a little guidance too. Tchao!

The artsy-fartsy in ME!

This cute journal was made in my RS craft night last night. All it is are some craft paper, ribbon, glue stick, and whatever you want to put on it. The notebooks were bought @ a dollar store and we just simply made them into $10 journals. However, i already have a journal so this will just probably decorate emmery's room till she can write in it! Cute eh?

So this is a Firework craft was done in my RS crafts night and I had a blast making these. These are my fireworks that i made for my mom for mothers day. I made these actually at home...the ones i made are down below.

I did mine different than what everybody else was doing...i went rustic and smaller. Which I like alot!

But i sure loved doing it and I am so happy to finally have my own glue gun so that I can do my own recylced crafts.

These are made of recycled cans and cereal box cardboard...the rest was from the craft store.

Well we are back from my familys Cluff Reunion. And I think it was nice to see relatives that we haven't seen in a long time because you know that you won't see them for a long time so it was nice to see how everyone was doing. Sean especially proud of himself b/c he set us up to stay in a condo near by instead of camping like everybody else. Which I have to admit was nice to come home to a clean shower and big clean bathroom. Let alone the bed was big and there was a fridge, stove, sink, TV, DVD player, and satellite to use at our convenience. Pool tables around the corner and Dvds to watch too. We were made fun of a bit, but it was okay b/c we made fun of how we would be taking hot showers that night. :-) Here

The wedding!

So i was in a wedding this past weekend, my friend's. And I was one of the bridesmaids and I had a good time getting my hair done. My friend Natali did my hair and she did an awesome job. She just loves to do Up-do's and she sure knows how. This was one she created herself. I am so jealous of her and her talents. But shes great. And you can see some of my dress here as well. I was going to take more pictures but i just didn't have time. The wedding was awesome and the reception was beautiful. It was different...they had Hawaiian hay stacks instead of finger foods. And some fun choco fondu stuff too!

Utah trip

Towards the End of our Utah trip we played alot in the back yard because the Sun was finally coming out...Emmery was having fun but then the pouty face came and snatched her away.

All together it was nice...i had enjoyed seeing the family and spending time with them. And see Emmery's face looks alot better than from the beginning of the trip...the blessing surely helped and we are so thankful to have worthy preisthood holders. Ta ta for now!

We decided to go on a walk on Memorial day and the sun was just coming out...it was so beautiful!

Then I was having fun with the camera and started taking pictures of cool things along the walk. My camera is only a 3.2 but it did just fine.

Utah trip!

Well we had an "okay" trip if you ask me but ask Sean , he was more happy about the trip rather than when we got home. The night b4 the trip I hurt my wrist so all during the trip i had to wear a wrist brace. :-( Then 2 days later a very awful accident occcured and Emmery was hurt pretty bad. Then when we returned home Sean had a bacterial thing in his stomach and intestines and was vomitting and dry heiving all the time! But all is well now, Thank goodness! So back the trip...Emmery and I were enjoying the flowers @ Aunt Mary's new house. It was cold to us as you can see.
