Sean is Stupid

I am not ashamed to say that because he can be very stupid when it comes to his health. As you can guess Sean's back is hurt, AGAIN. This time its his fault for making in worse. You see, a few weeks back he did something to it and has been no help around the house what so ever(okay maybe a tincey bit, spec of salt). And a huge blessing that he found a chiropractor who waves the fee for UOP employees. Great, I know right, so he has been there getting adjustments and massages for FREE for like the past 2 weeks. Well as we all know or might not know Sean is an addict, to sports. More so WallyBall and Baseball. He has soooo much testosterone in him it makes him grumpy if he doesn't get it out, so I don't complain when he plays even though I rarely see him as is. And so his Softball started back up again last week on Thursdays. I told him not to go, NO i BEGGED him not to go. I told him it was an unwise decision regardless even if he has someone run for him. "BAD IDEA!" screamed in my head. He wouldn't listen to me. As much as it hurt me, he left anyways. The dork even asked me if i was going, are you kidding me!?!?!? Why would i support this awful decision. Argghhh, can you tell it still upsets me to no degree. And sure enough the next day, came home from work and crashed on the couch and stayed there all weekend. Well pretty much anyway, just laid down alot. He breaths hard when he has to move b/c it hurts him that much. Its bad and we are juggling whether or not to get surgery. As young as he is, shouldn't have to go through life in pain all the time. Nor put his liver through hard work filtering all the pain killers. So in closing I have one thing to ask of you, whomever you are, Pray for Sean, for us that we can somehow figure out what to do and that he can still be the bread winner. That we can somehow find a way to get through this. I thank you for whatever you can do. Oh and if you know any way that we can get ahold of a invertable table for cheap.... P-L-E-A-S-E let me know.

Give the Bunny the boot, get rechargable.

Ever wonder why I have so many pictures on my blog all the time? Because we all know how our dig cameras drain reg batteries. Not to mention the time it takes to realize your out then the more time it takes to remember to buy them. Well not a issue for me because I finally bought my moneys worth of rechargable batteries w/ charger. Get this for $10!!! Instead of the normal $20 plus. YIKES! So heres to my lazy and budgeting pplz out there(etc.)...go to this link...
Its on Ebay normally 4 bucks but the buyitnow price is just a dollar more and no waiting or being outbid. For the combined total its like $11..not bad eh? And they work GREAT! Easy to charge, charges 4 AA at a time, 4 AAA at a time, wall insert folds in for easy travel, notifies when done charging and batteries life is 2100mAh...meaning alot of hours for use. Like 10 life times of a reg battery. Chyah! So what you waiting for?
And if you need more batteries...just buy more.(of course they HAVE to be rechargable kind)
You can buy more from this same company. Have any questions...let me know.
I just wanted to pass along good findings...because they are always worth sharing.

My Kitchen

I've always wanted to do this. Ever since our first place, the condo, I kicked myself for not taking pictures of my place. You know the memories of your first place together? Well, that opportunity is gone now with the exception of the few christmas photos. And it was only because everytime I wanted to take a picture of my house it was dirty or it wasn't decorated yet...and then the times it was...I don't know what happened. So, that being said...my kitchen was spotless, mostly, and I told myself to take some pictures...b/c who knows how much longer we'll be here in this house. And I not only want memories but pictures too. This is just for me...nothing interesting.(one day i will print this blog) I have to mention that since i've been messing with my camera I think i threw off the focus in some shots.
I still need something on this wall...its too 'square'. I'll figure it out. So with that said, I am now determind that when a room in my house is spotless and in order I will do my duty to capture it to savor for the sake of savoring.

Yummy-ness...beware, this post may cause hunger

Yesterday Morning, Sunday, I was in the mood for blueberry muffins. And I knew I had recently bought a pkg so I made them. But these weren't just any batch, they're Betty crocker. Which is my favorite kind to buy. I mean just look at them, aren't they gorgeous?! I think out of all the times i've made muffins these were timed just right. I usually tend to think they're not done and leave them in until they are all brown on top..but this time I used a skill called "THE EASIEST THING YOU COULD EVER DO", and used the toothpick to determine if it was done in the middle. Its a beautiful thing~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~he he And yes, in case you were wondering, they were Gooood!
Im so proud of myself. lol

Watch out, random pictures on display.

Random cuteness...I usually am against Emmery watching TV at such a young age...but rare occasions...such as the day of shots I let her watch a little bit while she happily enjoyed her bottle. But look at her, so content, so relaxed..its scary how they just get sucked into the TV. okay, it is an almost daily thing we do at nights. Sean, Emmery, and I go on walks so that Emmery gets out her remaining energy and tuckers out just before bedtime. its nice b/c Sean and I get to enjoy each others company while we chase our daughter around. And this is for you Lori(my sister), see the lovely high water overalls shes wearing???Thanks, we really like them...especially for laughing at. Watch out, the floods coming in!!! Holding Daddy's hand while walking..i can't believe how big shes grown. And of course here goes my sweet angel...screaming again. Yes, unfortunately she screams at the top of her lungs when shes Happy, upset, excited and/or wants our attention. Yikes, not sure how to break that habit. Can you tell shes straining?..thats how extreme it gets.

Teachers were right as always

See, this is a common example of what would happen when I tried to snap a close up-detailed image of something. For ex, my ring, Blurry and unclear. And now I can see the LINES in the fabric, the actual diamonds, even the ridging on the sides!
And On Ebay I always wondered.."how did they get a shot like that, so close that you can see the tiny printings inside the band? It shows PT(platinum) 950. I could never imagine getting that good of a shot before now.

Look at how much better it is. I can see the markings of flowers and scrolls. Even the wood looks cool.

And get this, I have settings IN my camera that change the picture too. Look at the picture above and then the one below. Above is dull and below is vibrant. How neat-o is that!

And Sepia

And B/W...mind you these are all different pictures taken.

Oh the possiblities!!! Okay so I know that you 'smart' photographers out there are going 'He, anh, he, anh, he, anh'(like a donkey) at me but I have yet to figure out how to use ISO's and whatever the heck 'noise' is on a camera. But I sooon will find out and I'll get better. And one day I'll have a nice camera that takes awesome pictures and I'll know how to use it. :-)

For Us

I wanted to do this the Day of our anniversary but then I totally spaced and forgot about it. I wanted for a week to be in remembrance of our marriage with the accompaniment of Our Song. This is for you Babe. Our song...The luckiest.
Because I still am.

Done

Well last night was the night I finished my book 'The Host'. I enjoyed it, but my sister was right...you have to wait awhile to read it if you just finished the Twilight series. Like almost as if i needed time to erase all of my feelings towards the last book so that I could gain new feelings of appreciation towards this one. So if any of you are looking to read the Host next from reading twilight +...bad idea...in my opinion...wait a while first. And she was right, Stephenie (the author) said "its science fiction for those who don't like science fiction".

3 years!

Yes, we did it, we've borne each other for 3 years..i mean...we've loved each other for 3 years. uh-hem, of course thats what I meant. lol. Im totally kidding, Im so happy that we've just celebrated our 3rd year anniversary. I love to feel pretty and classy to these kind of events so of course I dressed up for the occasion but Im sure as you can guess jeans and a tshirt fit seans style. Whats there to impress anyway, right?...hes already got the girl....as he would say. What a stinker. Oh well, it was nice, and we talked alot. Sadly enough, at times we couldn't think of things to talk about...I think it was b/c we just stared at eachother in awe. We enjoyed the evening just us at Black Angus. It was really nice to enjoy such a meal. What was really nice about it was we got to have the whole caboodle...appetizer, meal, and strawberry cheesecake. Now cheese cake normally wouldn't be my choice but MAN was it GOOD!

My new love...lets get down to decorating

So I went to walmart to pick up some photos I had developed and I was so overcome with joy at how great they turned out I just had to share. Now this picture is going to hang in my family room, I think . still not sure where to put the 5x7
maybe the hallway?
I was really worried b/c the photo inputted was made for 4x6 and i stretched it to a 5x7 size..so it is a little off but you can hardly tell.

And these darling photos were NOT taken professionally, nope, just me..of course they look nice once you put borders and turn them black and white. However, i did keep keep one in color...the flower was too pretty to drown in black.

These will eventually decorate emmery's wall...I have a few frames for them...but some will just go in a photo album. Ta dah, thats all folks!

Reaction

So this morning another wall of confusion of 'what to feed Emmery for breakfast?' occurred.
I decided I wanted some eggs...so to spruce it up a bit I put in shredded cheese with Turkey meat. I figured Emmery would have some too, i was tired of giving her the same fruit everyday 4 breakfast so to introduce something new like eggs might be interesting. I didn't really think about it, I mainly focused on just giving something new to eat to Emm. So I made of bowl of eggs to give her and let her have at it. As I was deciding what else to feed her she began to act kinda funny. Scratching her head, neck, and hands. Fidgeting, rubbing, and weird looks on her face. And then it hit me as soon as i asked the words 'whats wrong Emmery?'. She was having an allergic reaction. So trying not to panic, i swiftly took her out of the seat and washed her hands and face and arms. You could noticeably see little white spots, red and swollen (like ant bites) all over her hands and arms. I Called my sister Lori in effort to shine some light on what I should do. She also was about to feed Ryan (same age as Emmery) eggs too. Told me to give her benadryl and to watch her breathing. Thankfully I had read up on allergic reactions before and new the signs: apparent irritations on the skin, projectile vomiting, and/or trouble breathing/ no breathing. And THANKFULLY only the 1st occurred. Little blessings make the biggest differences. 5mins after the spots began to fade and Emmery wasn't itching anymore. Whew! I thought to myself. These pictures aren't the best but you can see the redness it left behind.
And no it wasnt the cheese or meat..shes had both before.

A big red one was underneath her neck.

On a better note...I have a Happy ending to share with you.

So a week ago I received two Breaking Dawn books as presents. Obviously I didn't need both so I pondered on what I was going to do. My motherinlaw suggested I exchange it at a book store and get a book I want. So I took a trip down to the store and went up to the counter with my amazon box w/book still wrapped inside (to prove i hadn't opened it). The lady declined to agree upon an exchange. So in my dismay I asked who could,,she replied Bookmans. I continued to speak with her about my issue and b/4 i walked away she asked to take a look at the book. I showed her that it clearly wasn't open...then she asked what book I was interested in as an exchange. The Host by stephenie Meyer..i replied. She took the box and made the transaction happen. She said she would take the books value as was priced on their website(b/c i guess its different), about $17 bucks. And the Host was $20 and I so happily paid the difference. So I gave her a very big smile and thanked her for her help. However she did refuse to keep the amazon box, she replied" I don't want to have to explain myself." ha ha..I smiled and nodded. Apparently that transaction wasn't something she was allowed to do.

Yay! here it is!

She's Blood thirsty! Run, Run for your lives!

Renesmee?!?! Nessie, Is that You?! What did you do with my precious Emmery?
"Muahhhhahaha, you're next!" "Thats right, Im talkin' to you" Excuse me while I wipe the tears from my face(laughing to hard) I know my jokes are cheezy but it makes me happy.
I gave Emm her favorite fruit and when I walked away and came back I couldn't help but laugh out loud and grab my camera. I imdiately thought of the book. Some will understand this post, some will not. 2 bad 4 U.

My delayed birthday with the Ladies

Every month or so(whomever is having a birthday), my mother and sisters(sister-in-law which we consider a sister) get together to celebrate bdays just as us. Its nice to get out with just the girls and talk. Well, since it was my turn to pick where we were going I decided to try a new place called Crackers & Co. Heard about it from a friend(thx Jen) and decided it would be perfect. So on Saturday we met and just sat and talked and enjoyed each others company. It was fulfilling. I miss my sisters, especially you Brit, love you! Thank you so much for the presents. I am loved..I got the book 'New Moon', Enya's CD, Cold Stone creamery card, Target gcard w/ lotions, and a heart cookie cutter. Thank you so much, I have wonderful sisters and mother. I couldn't ask for more. ashley

Getting rid of that extra energy

So it was apparent that Emmery needed to get out of the house. Because its soooo hot she can't go outside for very long. Im kind enough to let her play a few minutes outside before putting her to bed so she can get out that energy. Poor thing, she gets cooped up in the house all day. So I decided, even though Sean had taken the nice car and car seat, to go to the mall anyways and let her play at the playplace with other kids. So I got in the incredibly HOT car w/ no tint, put Emmery in the burning hot carrier(careful not to burn her), and grabbed the 'lower class, beat up, dirty stroller' and took off. I didn't care at this point of how ridiculous it was to go out..i just wanted out. The mall is like a 5 min drive. Not to bad...but if you've got lame A/c in a car its torturing. We get there into the nice cool air and poor Emmery's face was all red and burning hot. So I bought a bottle of water and gave her many sips. Then we headed to our final destination. Here are just some photos... Can you 'see' the energy I'm referring to? She found a friend..kinda Emmery was real good about getting off the blocks with out falling. A lady asked me 'how come?'
I said it was b/c we have stairs. She was the mom of the other girl. This was Emm trying to make her escape b/4 I ran out a grabbed her. Here is the little girl trying to figure out how she did it. She was about Emmery's age.

Sean turned 25!

So last Tuesday was Sean's birthday. Can you believe he is 25! Ha ha the joke was on my parents when they asked me while I was dating Sean, 'so, how old is he?' and I responded "he's 24." Which of course was wrong. I don't know what gave me that impression. I was soooo in my own world while dating Sean...i don't think I got anything right. So Anywho, we got together last Monday with his family. It was a 'Happy birthday Sean'/(slash) 'going away party for Serena and Family. They moved to Utah that Wednesday
The boys, Sean, and Emmery were playing some soccer and kicking goals. Emmery enjoyed throwing this around Chillin' with Great Grandpa Dale...I guess technically he's a 'Step' gr. grandpa. But hes sweet.
