Dearies

I am blessed. I have friends who forgive me, who parent me, who listen, who vent, who seek my advice, who respect me, who deal with me,...who love me. A realization im slowly acknowleging this year. Now I am in nowhere near the category of a faithful friend. sad as that sounds...its true. what I mean by faithful is that I tend to keep poor contact with them. and Its amazes me everytime how they still bend for me and forgive me. For that I couldn't ask for anything better. Thats a special someone, my little dearie. Thank you to all my old and new friends. Please don't divorce me, i couldn't bare it. Anywho, that little shpill felt a little good to get out. But now i must gear this towards one of my dearies, Angie. Im so glad she puts up with my lack of "calling' her. Its not that i mean to, i find that i easily consume myself with my life pitties while dissing my friends in the process. Im much better in person and they know that. I wasn't the one who would call my friends in pre or post-highschool...they called me. Now in no sense am I saying that i was some kind of friend to be put upon pedistal of popularity. Its just I was horrible at phone conversations and unlikely was the first to engage myself in one. I was great at listening tho. I just loved to hear how my friends voices sounded and their current life adventures. That was me. But. Highschool passed, college came, dating, ugh dating, and life changing events took place. Now its most crucial to have phone conversations or letters b/c of distance or other reasons. I've come to that realization say, January i think. Sooooooo now its time to really move on to ...well...this: Photobucket you see...an unfortunate event happened to Angie and she flew down here to be with family. But thankfully, she found time to spend with me and this is how it goes: After a horrible eat at Applebee's which is now on our hit list. Never EAt THerE aGain! we did absolutely nothin' at all... ~@~ We stopped at safeway to pick up some dounuts for Ang's mom. She loves them. We drove back to her mom's house where Angie stayed and hung out a bit. Her mom has always been silently sweet to me. I like that about her. We chatted, flipped thru Ang's photos, reminisced, related, remembered, and recapped. It was a much needed night out for her and I am glad to have been of service. thank you Ang for staying true to me. love you, dearie.

Chocolate of brown, Red of Roses

I wasn't quite sure of my surroundings as I awoke in the cold bedroom alone that morning. Was the babe still asleep? Where is everybody? In attempt to understand my current situation, i rubbed my eyes and tried to gather information from each detail in the room. "his phone is gone" from the beside of where it rests A hazy light glowed in from west window. "what time is it? was it morning?" then, like a landslide, the information came pouring in. -its early valentines day morning -he is not in the room -the babes room is quiet - no footsteps from the hall -no bathroom fan humming(as always we leave it on to create white noise) "Hmmm..." I thought. "he must have taken M out to play" "how nice"...(pause)..."now i can sleep in" ...Half hour later a little knee in my ribcage is not my idea of being immersed from my slumber. But as usual the little critter knows the ropes In-&-out of her crib...and as usual im awoken from some minor pain in my body.(being that the bed is 12" fr the ground) elbow to the jaw- head butt-smack in the face..you know...the toddlers approach to: GOOOOOD Morning!!!!! Im Up! Play with me! routine. So i pull my stiff body out of bed and threw something decent on.(can't go walkin' around the inlaws in my undies) when low and behold, there, down the hallway, on the kitchen counter is 8X11 note saying " Happy Valentine's Day I love you SO Much" written on crisp white paper, propped against a big red box of See's chocolates. Giddy i was, giddy. And then as i came closer a small box was behind the note. I picked it up. It was heavy. From within a pretty little silver box with the words written : love Sean. And then from within that a little black velvet bag holding inside a tiny silver chain and locket. a Locket! " No, he didn't really get me what I actually wanted, did he?" thats crazy talk right? well with Him its always a surprise...but at least he tries...and for that it would be impolite and inconsiderate to complain. Oh it is Lovely! a F n is what he engraved upon it. its my initials is a......er...style of order, i guess. When I was a little girl a sweet old sister from my hometown ward gave me a little locket of my own and I loved it. But Im older now and who knows where that little locket be. I like to think of it as another opportunity to keep my dearest ones close to my heart. and he simply added these intertwined hearts. Thoughtful. Sweet.
Now Im in big trouble b/c all my two yr old wants is to look at "ring" as she calls it, then pursue to pry it open and look inside. Which does not have any photos at this time but that is a work-in-progress.

And for him you may wonder? Well he's always complaining of not having enough black socks, you know, for work. So once again TJ Maxx came through for me and I got him bouquet of black socks. Believe you and me, he was genuinly excited. It was cute. Oh and a nice DKNY tie. Seriously, its amazing how the littlest things came make a mans day.

Theres more to this tale but Im done for now. This here post was a huge step for humanity...er...me, that is.

All is Well!

before it gets any later...

About early 2009 we took a family trip to Utah. This was the day my camera died. So my kind SIL let me borrow hers so that i may capture our first petting zoo experience. heres what I got... (feeding goats) (going for a hay ride!) the most antisipated side of my daughter i had ever witnessed was when she was waiting for her turn on the pony. It was a nice day and a memorable experience (so happy sitting pretty on a pony)

It was bound to happen

..I was bound to have lost my temper at some point or another.(j/k) ,seriously. (this is me saving her from embarrassment when she goes to show her beau someday)
ok, so the story, however boring and dull, is that while I was sitting at the table minding my own business this two yr old of mine comes up on my chair and begins to crawl all over me. at some point her knee slips causing her to loose her balance and come crashing down onto the table's edge to THEN come crashing on the floor, face down. (eye + table's edge = a shiner)
(if you notice the red spot thats where she hit) i gasped. as soon as I could get my hands on her i half expecting there to be an open wound with blood all over the floor. but surprisingly,(thankfully perhaps is the better word) none of that happened. At the time of the incident she couldn't cry hard enough from the pain it caused her but to me all i knew was that she was going to have quite the "bunk". Well 1/2 hour later the black around her eye showed up and soo...
THATS HOW YOU GET A BLACK EYE.
THE END moral of the story: *don't let yr kid climb all over you at the table *bathtime cures everything

Remember New Moon?like forever ago..?

...Well im just NOW writing about it. Hallelujah! What a fantastic day it was. All us ladies met at a secluded theatre and had a wonderful time together watching a book we love now come to life. I remember taking a look around and being thankful.
Picture this: a Full theatre, middle row, dead center, excitement thick in the air, mOm-sister-sister-sister-me, in just a few minutes our wait would finally be over, but our thirst only sufficed temporarily.
As I, at the end of the row, look back at my family I couldn't help but to just "pause" and hug the moment. So much love is concentrated easily when all(almost all) are together. "I love my sisters! I love my mother! I LOVE THIS" was all I could help to well up in my mind. And then a wreckage of sadness hit me. There was one soul missing that night who had no control over her position(stuck in GA w/ a family of 7 to attend to) but in our hearts she was there. (Next time Brittney, next time, I promise you we WILL get you here!
Mark My Words!)
The movie was fantastic, least to say. But the company, la creme! Until next time... (man, can I just say my sissies are a bunch of Hottie bo bodies! ((u too Lauren, u r my sissie)) Seriously, THanks Mom!)
