(sigh)...All is Well

Finally, the sun is shining in on me. I have been sick these past two days with (a-hem) the "runs", seriously. Is losing 5 lbs in less than 24hrs bad? 107 Sunday, 102lbs today. Monday was the worst then in just continued on till Tuesday. Is this what it feels like having a colon cleansed? I feel everything move in there now...weird. Anywho, today is way way better and I am thankful...In fact I have a great many things to be thankful for.
Since the sickness I haven't really been anywhere besides the toilet. But now that the computer is available to me I do believe today is the day to announce:
(((((((((((Drum roll))))))))))))))
Sean is Manager! Hooray!
This is no April Fools day joke...this is for Real. He was told on Monday and started managing that day. In fact, he still hasn't moved all of his stuff to his new desk. So today is his 3rd day and he said he is really feeling good about it. He is managing the 5th top team in the Northeast region. And we've heard nothing but the best from his superiors about how please they are with him. Its such a good feeling as the wife of him, I can't imagine how he feels being on cloud 9. In fact, the word 'round the office was " ..there is Sean and then there is someone else..."..." Sean is first pick and the second is still in limbo..."...." ...its for sure Sean, just still waiting to choose the 2nd guy..."
Everyone there was talking about it from what I hear. Seriously to be the "talk" of the Northeast region must have been a little self-moral boosting if I were Sean. We were just told yesterday that they still don't know who to choose for the 2nd manager position and will be doing another round. Jaw dropping I know. One of the senior reps(a top-dog interviewer) told Sean herself that he had given the Best Presentation she had ever seen in her career, which apparently had been a while. Isn't that just sooooo flippin' COOL!
As I kept hearing all the good things they were saying about Sean, I teasingly kept telling him not to let his head get to bloated. No really he was very cool headed about it...but it seemed like everyone about him boasted. Especially his team...they are very proud of him but at the same time know that means he will be leaving them. Turns out 6 ppl on the team are actually going to transfer to different depts b/c Sean was the weight keeping them tied to that team. It just melts my heart to hear how much his team really depended on him and how much they really loved and appreciated him.
So thats our good News Flash!
I am so proud of you babe and I am thankful for this blessing in our lives.

Here let me bend over so you can kick me

I know you're diggin that title right now but its true. Poor Sean had a rough day yesterday, its kinda funny though. Sean was really tired when we woke up for work and it was his turn to carpool to work. He knows all of the guys numbers just in case he needs to call them. Well, starting this week they had a newcomer join the carpooling (Frank) and he didn't have his number. Sean wanted to sleep in instead of workin at 5 am. It didn't take Sean long to realize his defeat and decided to get ready to go to work. As Sean leaves the house he turns onto 56th st which is north/south and perpendicular to Main st. Sean ,driving, slowed up to the 56th and Main RED light, notices One car half a mile away heading the direction he's headed, and since its 4:30am in the morning, one car far away, his natural reaction was to slow at the light(not stopping) and turned right heading East. Sean's creeping around the "5 above speed limit" mark when he notices that Same car speed up and tail him. Sean's thinking" Dude? whats your problem??Its 4.30 in the morning and 3 open lanes, Go Around duffus!" As most should know they say if you have a tail gatter to slow down and let the guy pass you. Thats exactly what Sean did. However, this guy never pasted him....he turned on his Red and Blue flashing lights instead!
Sean: " CRAP!".
So Sean pulls over and the officer tells him the reason he pulled Sean over was because he ran a RED light...????huh???? You mean to tell me the red light at the intersection at which I had turned right NOT strait???? Police man: Yup. So yeah Sean got a ran a red light ticket and the cop joked to give him a speeding ticket too, however the cop stated he wasn't 'round long enough to catch him for that. Pffffffffff! What a turd I say. Sean drives away flabbergasted and frustrated and is now 20 minutes late in picking up the guys. Sean gets to Frank's house only to add to his frustration that Frank slept in and was going to drive himself to work. Ugh! Sean, as you can imagine ,was mentally kicking himself b/c that whole ticket could have been avoided. Gee, thanks FRANK! Sean and his co workers get to work and the day begins.
Oh and to add more to that stack of "kick me while I'm down" pancakes...Sean took our car in to the dealership for its 3000 mile oil change. A new Lady at the counter tells Sean he has to Pay $130 Bucks because if we want our warranty maintained we have to get a 51,000 mile check up. ????WHAT???? Theres no such thing as a "51,000 mile check maintenance". After debating for 6 minutes Sean had to give in. Sean asks why and She told sean for the warranty it's mandatory to get that check up every 3,000 miles. yeah, I know, Shes a JOKE! She has no idea what she's doing....you get OIL changes every 3.000 miles not check ups ya Dodo.
