Yup! its one of those days...

Progression of the little things to big differences

progression is something I am working towards everyday. And so is my baby. She can jump(hop) like a pro, run like a cheetah, babble like a drunk person(w/her slurrs and squeals), and climb up our stairs faster than you can say "Supercalafragilisticachespeealowdoeshiss"(sp?).

No kidding...she is fast on those four little limbs.

Shes recently been learning to use these words in context:

• More Please:[sounds like: Mmmmmmoor,(pause) Tea] its hilarious how much she emphases on the "m". There is so much concentration involved.
• Go?:[ as in// where did it go?...and she raises her hands upside.
• Jump: [when she jumps]
• Outside: [sounds like: ouu-sigh] and trust me, you'd better mean business if you say this word around her...she'll take you literally.
• Bird: [Buh]
• Sean: [Ssaw] this i guess isn't so much in context...more like copycat...she'll do it when Im hollering at sean from up/down stairs. Its so funny and cute.
• Ashley: [Aa-she] same as above only reversed.
• Mommy: its funny cause sometimes it comes out like [Mom-bee]
• Daddy: as is.
• Ball: she still drops the "ll" though..
• Shoe: as is.
• Belly button: [Bee]

Mmmm...I know Im missing a few...will have to put down later...but as I am writing these out; its beginning to sink in how she's not a baby anymore. She is a toddler; ready and eager to learn. And its been coming down on me hard lately: Am I feeding her enough? ...feeding her brain, that is.

A first

Well...I guess theres a first for everything. :0)

Yesterday marks the first day Emmery did business in the ....

Tub. Yeah, its unfortunate. But the upside is...well...i can't really think of a legitamate one. It was gross and I am NOT looking forward to that part of rearing children. Its that fact that deep down you know it won't be the last Licoln Log to find in a tub.

Architect

after putting Emmery down for the night...i headed down stairs to finish my mopping. While turning off the unnecessary lights round the house I came upon this on the bathroom floor. Apparently(since i had shew-ed Emmery away from my area of cleaning) Emmery decided the safe place to play was in the bathroom...and she was right. Funny the little things we miss while we "buzzy bee" moms go about our duties. But as least I am glad she left it here for me to appreciate her adequate architecture.

....And yes, those are Boggle pieces but blocks non-the-less.

Bug

Dear Mr Bug,

I know you have been enjoying your stay here in Emmery's body but it's been two whole days already! I do believe you have over stayed your visit. With the runs, no eating, and the "night" episode I do believe poor Emmery has had enough! Please take all of your belongings; we wouldn't want to inconvenience you by coming back to pick up your remnants. And FYI,

You Are NOT Welcome back ever again!

Investigating

Mr. F(sean) has started back up again with his weekly baseball UOP team(in case you're wondering his back is feeling much better). As the night was coming to an end and it got darker Emmery(wandering around) found these strange jumping things on the ground. She was so hilarious how she would squat and watch it then pursue to grab it and of course it would fly away near by and she'd be at it again. Cute little belly sticking out. I think towards the end she actually caught one but freaked out.

Oh the simplest things can be so interesting :O)

P.S. Before the game Da Da decided to play alittle gameworks and Emmery couldn't even concentrate on eating she was sooo in tuned with the (video) game. which just so happened to be a baseball game. Oh boy, Like father, like daughter.

Just a regular Sunday morning and a mama who can't help but wanna take a few pictures before church. I love these shots...however (below) i wish was more clear. But I love the way the dress hangs I love her pose here. he he My poor bald baby...oh well..she looks younger longer. You are more beautiful to me everyday.
