Home Details-quick catch up

House Inspection- That went really well. Horrible day for me since i caught a worker puking near our home by a fence. GROSS!!!!!! And being me, that was the only vision repeating thru my head the rest of the day. (((gitters)))Gosh awful! Anywho, the house! yes the house, its in fantastic condition except for : the norm. Being, the house is settleling, but its fine. And There is water seeping under the concrete at the edge of the patio that caused a huge crack in the cement. Just a minor change in the watering system and no future problems will occur. Thats it! No termites either.
So...as it turns out, if we decided to stay with our current loaner(ha ha, sounds funny) we'd turn out getting denied by Them because it would take too long to close(45 days). That just won't do.
So as we speak, were getting hooked up with a better loan with a lower percent rate AND faster closing date(end of March). Yup, I think thats its for now...oh and signing the Papers today. Yay!

Hows the House Hunting coming along?

Funny you should ask. There is a particular house that I have not mentioned here on this blog...reason?...well I wouldn't want anyone to steal from me now would I? No, that wouldn't be a good thing... Its going into auction soon this month but we are hoping(from some news under the table) that by resubmitting our offer, we hope the bank will accept before it goes. It has a pool and a decent lot with alot of square footage, awesome floorplan, and basically I can't stop thinking about it. I feel like i am the girlfriend who got the rug swept right out from under her and was ''dumped", and no matter how hard I try(to move on) I still want him back. Yeah, its a LoveSick senario. (sigh) So we are due to submit the offer tomorrow. Tho, I still feel the same, like Im never gonna get this house, that it will fall through(AGAIN). But Im pretty sure that whatever happens it'll be for the best. Sides, there is one OTHER house of which My EyE Spot yesterday. Ohhhh me Likie! So, as for us? Well we are in for the winter. Sorry Nancy, I guess you're stuck with us a little longer, but we are very thankful. luv, Aezra And for your viewing pleasures, a few videos from us ...well....from M. Here. Here. and Here and Here

Thou shalt NOT have

(stopped by my "lost" house today.)
It feels like Im being told this. Its just this little rant inside my head. It saddens me. But perhaps we'll find another home like it or better. Perhaps.
(Front room, into kitchen and family room) Heres what we get to "try" to look forward to...the same repetitive "no, this ain't it" feeling. but we try and must press on. House no. 1 House no. 2 House no. 3 house no. 4 house no. 5(this pic is horrible, it cuts out half the house...its actually better than appears)

Okay so I was supposed to post this last night

The first house smelled of smoke.  And one of the dogs pooped on the floor whilst we were there.  It was sadly disgusting.  The second I was washed over with relief.  And for being a bank owned was actually quite nice...but of course the rain cloud follows wherever we go so the bid on that house was sure to follow.  And then there was the "mormon" house...it had it writtin all over it.  Gotta say I sure admired it...mainly the lady that ran that house.  She should be rewarded for Mormon Mommy of the Year award.  However the house was not for me.

(Sigh)...(frown/smile)

I guess we'll just keep looking.  This house hunting stuff sure is depressing at times.  It just wears me thin.

So to help me with my depression I found a "big something" to keep me chipper.  From all this i have been able to see what things would fit me in my future kitchen and one of those is this.

(or at least something along the lines of it)
I LOVE that its gas, and i LOVE that is easy to clean w/ a ceramic top. AWESOME!
This one is by Bosch.
Thats it for now.

But the so called "tv stand" wasn't up for the job...probably b/c its a shoe rack...but hey if you're trying to be frugal. Tv number two: Goodwill $4.59 Tv number three: 19" 10$ yard sale buy tv number four: 27" gift from FIL(father in law) Tv number five: 36" 150lbs hunk of awesome-ness! Welcome to my humble abode

I've been neglecting to do this for sometime now. Few weeks back my mother and I did some back breaking spring cleaning in preparation for some "hopeful" renters. Sadly enough it fell through but on the bright side we got everything(well practically everything) taken care of. Poor Hubs can't do jack-squat from his recent back surgery so I begged my mother to come and help me. Oh and it wasn't just cleaning that we did...we organized and "staged" the house. If you're not familiar with the term staging..think "model home".(that should give you the idea). Ah ha, so here is the slide show I made giving the Craigslist people and idea of what they'll be living in. So here it is for you to also see for yourself(if you care to that is):
Thanks for stopping by! :0)

The Winds of Change

Oh where to start? I've got a plate full. ::::It's official...we are moving! :::: Well, that is moving "out". It appears that in order for us to get a house it is in order that we must first sell or rent out our current residence. Selling doesn't exactly sound like an option considering the ones for sale in our complex can't sell. So what would be the point in adding ourselves to that list? Trying to make two payments wouldn't taste to good in our smoothie. In conclusion, the plan is that here in two weeks give or take we'll be packing our belongings and put it in storage. This means that we'll be temporarily resting our heads at Sean's mother's house. Time frame? Well we are hoping for just a couple of months, pray no later than summer we'll be in our future home. Now granted I am not exactly excited about the part where we share a home with my MIL but I am very grateful for her to open her doors to us. Its a great match...she gets company...and we get a place to stay while in limbo. You see, she is an empty Nester now...and so it has been difficult for her to gulp.
:::Change:::
Yes change is in motion. That means I need to start organizing our crap 'round here. Yeah spring cleaning came a little earlier for us this year. yay! not! No, no really, its fine. For a change, we'll finally be able to save our money. For a change, we'll have a backyard for Emm to play in.
:::Change:::
Sean has been managing his team at work in replace of his boss these past two months. The superiors have taken notice that there team has gone from 4th to Top Performing team in his division. Sean is a very good daddy over there at work: giving all of himself and thinking only of others. The superiors have taken notice of his diligence and determination to keep his team a float while the boss is "out". So it is in due time that they will be giving him a managing position. Yes, Manager. That means big over there at UOP. That means more time for us family and less stress for Sean to have to endure.
:::Change:::
That means our tires are calling out in distress..."Pleeaassee, change me! Im wearing thin, you'll never know when I'll give in!". Do you know how we'll be paying for that?
:::Change:::
Is it any news to anyone that we've been sharing a car for the past, oh i dunno, 8 months? (its awful btw, especially if you're used to the luxury of having two to begin with)Because if it is, well let me tell you my friends....that there piece of junk

is paying for our new tires, new laptop, new standing fan, AND moving supplies. We are selling a car for the first time and for the first time using Craig's List. In fact, within the first few hours we already had an offer...now all we do is wait till we can get together to exchange. The wait is making me anxious im so excited!

Change. What a word. Change can be so good, but can also bring a great many ill feelings too.

Welp, that means its time for me to put together a "To-do" list of daily tasks till the day arrives. So that means((((brace yourselves)))) I may not be here for a while, blog (:0(

Sniffle, sniffle, I know...its hard to hear...I'll miss you to. But just remember...its only for a little while.

I'll keep you posted when I can.

A hopeful

This is the house that has been on my mind for a few months now. We originally saw this house for sale 6 months ago but obviously $350, 000 was way out of our range. Well with the economy the way its been and ppl buying out of their means...6months later it became foreclosed and up for sale again. . So the bank is eager to get this off its hands. There was an auction already for it but no one bid because of the high price the bank was asking. So now we wait till an appraiser can come outand then we'll see if the price becomes reasonable. If it does...it may be possible...with some help...that we could put a bid on it and may one day become ours. However far stretched it is, it sure gives me happy thoughts to think about "maybe" that could be my house someday.
It sits on a half acre lot. Four bedrooms, Spacious pool, and basketball court, with plenty of room for our little Emmery to run around back while I get things done within the house. I picture so many happy moments there. I know Im obsessed!!! But I like to dream, and dreaming allows me to do whatever the heck I want. If that means dreaming of how I would decorate it inside...well
By golly thats what I love to do! My heckers i've already thought of color schemes for each room and how I would decorate it, what furniture would go where, etc. Its so fun for me, i just can't get enough of it. I've been looking at wallpaper too! I know totally not me but i think its growing on me. I've been watching way to many olden day movies and all of their homes have cute wallpaper. And since I've had this anxiety issue...its made me more sensitive. I don't know how else to put it.
Im sensitive to: color, to smell, to sight, the noise, to food, drink, movies...i could go on. I mention color because I realize the placement of my red downstairs was a bad idea b/c of where it faces in my house. Red can be a happy romantic color if used properly. But I find myself depressed if I stay down there to long. The light can't get it to brighten the room to feel...happy. The room faces north...so only reflected light can get in...not direct. So It tends to feel gloomy in there and I get affected by it. I feel like a mole in a hole.
Anyway, what was I saying, oh yes...wallpaper in my next house is something I've been playing with back and forth. Certain kinds of paper give walls depth and texture...and I've found some I really like. I've also decided that in my next house I want white cupboards...at least thats what I've been envisioning..and it seems so perfect. White represents clean and fresh and its brightens up a place i know i'll always be. I'll have to investigate further about what kind of white paint would be best b/c i would need it to repel most of anything to keep it looking clean. Plain wood is just so typical and I just think I could use some spice! But we'll see...this of course is just a dream I keep playing with in my head. And I thought I would share it.
ta ta for now!
